Crochet 3D

Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 September 2026

These Terms govern your use of crochet3d.com and everything offered through it. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Who you are contracting with

  • Legal name: Individual Entrepreneur George Papashvili (sole proprietor under Georgian law), trading as Crochet 3D
  • Identification number: 01015001988
  • Registered address: Angisa II Lane, N 8, Building B, Flat 1002a, Batumi, Georgia
  • Contact: hello@crochet3d.com
  • Registry verification: napr.gov.ge

“We”, “us” and “Crochet 3D” mean Individual Entrepreneur George Papashvili. “You” means the person using the service.

2. What the service is

Crochet 3D is a tool for writing crochet patterns and seeing them rendered in 3D as you write. It includes a pattern editor with validation, a 3D preview, a gallery of patterns shared by us and by other users, and optional user accounts. It is free to use, with paid plans that raise the limits of a free account — section 8.

The service keeps changing. We ship improvements often, and a change can occasionally break something. We do our best, but you should not rely on it as the only copy of work that matters to you — save your patterns to your account and export anything you would be upset to lose.

3. Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use the free features with your parent’s or guardian’s permission, but you may not buy a paid plan yourself. By using the service you confirm you meet these conditions.

4. Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu; that removes your profile, your patterns, your uploaded files and your gallery entries, and it cannot be undone.

If you have a paid subscription running, cancel it first and the delete button will let you through. That order is deliberate: it makes sure the payment provider stops before the account it belongs to disappears, so that nothing can be charged to a card after there is anything left to charge it for. The invoices we are legally required to keep survive the deletion — see the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, that is used to attack or abuse the service, or that we are legally required to close. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.

5. Your patterns stay yours

You keep every right you have in the patterns, text and images you create here. We claim no ownership of them.

To run the service we need a narrow permission: you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, render and display your content for the purpose of operating the service for you. That is what lets us save your work, generate 3D previews and show it back to you on another device.

If you publish a pattern to the gallery, you additionally allow us and other users to view it, and you allow us to display it — including its preview image — inside the service and in material promoting the service. You can remove a published pattern at any time; we will stop displaying it, though copies others already saved to their own devices are beyond our reach. Only publish work that is yours to publish.

6. What belongs to us

The application itself — its source code, design, the pattern language and its documentation, the 3D rendering engine, the Crochet 3D name and logo, and the patterns we author ourselves — belongs to Individual Entrepreneur George Papashvili or our licensors. You may use it as the service intends; you may not copy, resell or republish it, or present it as your own.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload or publish content that infringes someone else’s rights, or that is unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit;
  • use bots or scripts to create accounts, publish patterns or flood any form;
  • scrape, reverse-engineer or extract data from the service beyond what it openly offers;
  • try to reach another user’s data, or to get around the limits of your plan;
  • interfere with the security, integrity or normal operation of the service;
  • use the service for anything unlawful.

8. Paid plans

Every account starts on the free plan. It needs no card, it does not expire, and nothing is charged until you choose to subscribe. The paid plans, what each one includes and what it costs are on the pricing page, and the plan, the period and the exact amount are shown to you again before you confirm a purchase.

Price and currency. Plans are sold in US dollars or euros; we suggest one from your location, you confirm it at checkout, and the currency is then fixed for as long as that subscription runs. The price you see is the price you pay: any tax due on the sale is included in it, and nothing is added at checkout.

Billing and renewal. You choose a monthly or a yearly period. Payment is taken at the start of each period and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel. We charge the amount that was agreed when you subscribed: if we change our prices, a subscription already running keeps the price it started on until you change plan yourself.

Payment. Paid plans are sold through Creem, our payment partner, which acts as the merchant of record: it is the legal seller of the subscription to you, it collects and remits any tax due, it issues the receipt for each payment, and its name — Creem — is what appears on your card statement. You enter your card details on Creem's checkout, not on our pages, and we never receive or store your card number. To renew the subscription Creem keeps your card on file; a later charge, a plan change and any refund are carried out through it. Receipts, the card on file and your billing address are managed on Creem's customer portal, which you can open from your billing page.

Changing plan. You can move up a plan at any time from your plan page. It takes effect immediately, you pay only the difference for the days left in the period you already paid for, and your renewal date does not move. Moving down a plan takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, so you keep what you bought until it runs out.

Cancelling. Cancel at any time from the same plan page, in as few steps as it took to subscribe. Cancelling stops any further charge and leaves your plan working to the end of the period you already paid for; after that the account continues on the free plan.

If a payment fails — an expired card, or no funds — the subscription is not renewed and the account returns to the free plan. We do not send it to debt collection and there is nothing for you to pay.

If you end up on a smaller plan — you moved down, you cancelled, or a renewal failed — and it allows fewer saved patterns than you have, nothing of yours is deleted. Your patterns stay, and stay yours to open, edit and export; you simply cannot save a new one until you are back under the limit or back on a larger plan.

Refunds. You have 14 days from any payment — the first one or a renewal — to ask for it back for any reason, and we refund it in full. How to ask, and how the money comes back, is set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Availability, and no guarantees

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a pattern will render exactly as a finished object behaves in yarn, or that a validated pattern is free of mistakes — the preview is a modelling aid, not a guarantee about the physical result. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing here excludes a warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose — which, for the free service, is zero. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill.

Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law — including mandatory EU and UK consumer protections, which are unaffected.

11. Changes to the service and to these Terms

We may add, change or remove features, and we may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the current version; if a change materially affects you we will give reasonable notice, by email where we have your address. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not, you can stop using the service and delete your account.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia (the country), without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Georgia have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where that law gives you the right.
